On Tuesday, the player came up with an update on his condition as he shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen training with the ball on the grass. In the story, he wrote, "I missed you".

The Argentine FA were reportedly pushing the 23-year-old to go for the surgery as soon as possible so that he gets maximum time to recover before the continental tournament in the summer. The reigning Copa America champions will begin their journey in the competition on June 21 against Canada.
